Antonio Orlandi was born in Rome on 05.08.1954, lives and works at Castelli Romani (RM). Even as a young man passionate about the themes of art, especially paintings by participating in exhibitions in the city. He attended summer courses in 1996 Nude Flavigny in France and then in 2005 at the Academy of Fine Arts "Slade in London. From 2004 to 2010 he attended the free painting RUFA (Rome University of Fine Arts) at the I.A.A. (International Art Academy) under the guidance of Lino Tardia (gold medal of the President of the Republic of art 2003), bringing forth a unique artistic first figurative then abstract field, using new materials and techniques that have allowed a pictorial training staff. In June 2010 participated in a formative stage of painting at the Kunsthojskolen of Holbaek (DK) under the guidance of Jacob Noregard, explore themes and new and unusual paths. In June 2005 she participated in a group exhibition at the Rome University of Fine Arts in Rome and one of his works is included in the catalog "2005" published by RUFA In May 2009 he participated in the initiative with some of the works: In the shadow of the skyscraper "ad Aprilia In November 2009 two of his works exhibited at the gallery "Article 105" in Rome. In July 2010 he participated in the exhibition end of the course to Holbaek (DK). In August 2011 he participated in a solo exhibition in the gallery “Arte Studio 2” in Venice . In October 2011 he participated in a solo exhibition in the gallery “Bonan” bassano del Grappa. He received the award “ Oscar della Cultura 2011” from Association : Gallery Centro Storico Florence. His artistic research, originally figurative, abstract and lead to a strong inner life, with soft, surreal and metaphysical forms that make it alien to the peaceful atmosphere stale and conventional. The paintings of Antonio Orlandi, is that it represents a solid gesture or a landscape or a conceptual thought, is extending the delicate paintings revealing, through vivid colours and while hot, as you can do modern art, drawing on established traditions. He works in the field of poetic dialogue with users and making them partakers of his emotions. In this first approach a more rational sensory overlap: just stop a moment on the works to understand instinctively that the component is accompanied by a new and personal research using images of beautiful and strong efficiency.
